Is the Director General of the Islamic World Academy of Sciences. Previously he occupied the positions of Technical Affairs Director, and Deputy Executive Director of the IAS. He graduated from the UK's Loughborough University of /Science and Technology with an MSc and BEng Degrees. He has a particular interest in Information Technology, the Environment and S&T Policy studies. He previously worked with several consulting firms both in Jordan and UK before joining the IAS in 1990.
